A day for the youth - International Youth Day

12th August celebrates International Youth Day. The purpose of this day being to generate awareness and direct attention towards youth issues worldwide. The concern for the UN is to improve the situation of young people and this explains the purpose for this special day.
With the interest of young people being the purpose of International Youth Day, why not think about Bowen treatment for the young ones that you love? Bowen is a known treatment for use on the young with the aim for happier and more relaxed children. It seeks to stimulate the muscles and soft body tissues through the application of gentle pressure to precise parts of the body with unique ‘rolling type’ movements.
A child's Bowen treatment is very gentle. Many report finding it a pleasant and relaxing experience. All treatments are carried out through light clothing, whilst the parent/guardian remains in the room.
Reasons for the use of this non-invasive treatment on children include allergies, ADD, ADHD, bed wetting, stress and chest infections to name a few. The benefits of children receiving Bowen include improved sleeping patterns and enhanced motor control and behaviour. Bowen treatment can help lead to healthier and happier children with better concentration levels. So while celebrating International Youth Day, take a look at Bowen therapy for children.
